The Most Successful Photography Marketing Strategy

Successful photographers know this…

Persistence pays off!

And then they are persistent…in everything they do.

This principle of persistence can be applied to all business areas, but let’s just focus on marketing for today.

We all know there are hundreds of ways to get the word out there about your photography…
You can blog, do Facebook Lives, post in Facebook groups, Instagram Reels, emails, ads, networking events, and oh the list can go on!

All of these are great, but the most successful marketing strategy is the one you are persistent with.

It took me about 3 months of persistent blogging before clients started to find me off Google.
It took me about a year of testing and tweaking my high school model program before I had a full team of paying and pretty amazing models.

It took hours of research and investing money I wasn’t sure I’d see a return on (and sometimes I didn’t) before my Facebook Ads started working.

A flower will not blossom without persistent watering, so let’s not expect our photography business to take off without persistent marketing.

Pick one or two marketing strategies you can be persistent with and then work on those every day, every week, and every month.

And when you do that, you'll see massive growth.

Bethany is proof of this. She's a student inside The Booked Photographer and last year she started to get serious about Facebook Advertising. Her business was going well, but she wanted to be booked out further out.

Bethany followed the ad strategy we teach and it worked like a charm - she was attracting and booking ideal clients straight from ads!!!

BUT...

Then the IOS changes happened...

As a result, her ads took a hit and were not performing as well as they had been. But instead of giving up, Bethany chose to be persistent in her Facebook marketing. She continued to test out different ads, copy and offers...and guess where she is now?

Bethany is fully booked for the rest of 2022!

It's in the middle of August and Bethany is booked solid this month, September, October, November AND December!

And the majority of those bookings are a result of her ad strategy.

Being booked 5 months in advance did not happen overnight for Bethany. She honed in on one marketing strategy and decided to be persistent with it.

It's worth saying again --> Persistences pays off....quite literally in business.

As you look at what I'm sure is a massively long list of things to do in your photography business, what is one marketing strategy that you are going to chose to be persistent with?
