3 Tips to Turn Your Website Visitors into Clients
Your website is one of the most important assets you have inside your photography business.
Yet so many photographers either put off having one, or cringe when people ask to see it.
If you’re one of them, don’t worry, I am here to help!
In fact, here are 3 Photography Website Mistakes that Cost You Clients (and How to Fix Them)
#1: Speaking to too many niches all at once
It’s totally ok if you want to photograph different niches, but it’s important that you dedicate each niche to a specific page on your website! You will confuse your prospect if you share your wedding, newborn, family, etc information all on one page.
Instead, create a single page for each niche you photograph that speaks directly to that client, their concerns, their wants and desires and that specific pricing information.
#2 Confusing flow and layout
Did you know It takes website visitors 3 seconds to form an opinion about you once they land on your website - just 3 seconds! So if your website flow is out of whack or confusing, they will pop right on off never to return again.
Make sure you clearly address these common questions from the gecko!
Where is the photographer located?
What’s included in her collection and basic pricing?
How do I get a hold of her?
#3 Not Including Testimonials
Just the other week, I hoped on amazon to purchase blankets. Of course there were THOUSANDS of options. You know how I decided which blankets to actually purchase? Reviews.
Regardless of what consumers are purchasing, whether it’s blankets off of Amazon, a new lens for our camera or a prospective client wanting updated photos, we base our buying decisions on reviews and testimonials.
Not only that, oftentimes, people are willing to pay more for a service that has a ton of great reviews versus a cheaper version of something similar that has little to no reviews. So splatter testimonials all over your website!
What now?
Take a moment to look over your website today. If you are making any of these mistakes, you now know what to do to fix them!
Cheering you on!
